Kaffene duo, Jon and Stefani love to have a good time with their audiences.

Having both been raised in music-loving and playing families, Kaffene duo, Jon and Stefani love nothing more than a great hook, riff and beat.

Together for more than seven years now, their unusual name came about when packing up a gig at the end of the night. Jon saw a billboard for a coffee shop with ‘caffeine’ printed up the side and thought what a great name for a band, with a slight change to the spelling.

With Jon a part of the music industry since he was 17 and both he and Stefani citing a broad range of musical influences, it is easy to see why the duo’s line up is so diverse.

“While Jon’s guitar-playing influences include all the great classics of the ’60s and ’70s like Gary Moore, The Eagles, CCR and Eric Clapton intertwined with the rhythms and intricacies of using a loop pedal and acoustic versions of the hits of today to yesteryears, I personally love to sing everything,” Stefani said.

“From ballads to pop hits, a good old raspy rock song with my roots in R ‘n’ B, together as Kaffene we love to play what people want to hear and never shy away from a great request from the audience, even if we have to make it up on the spot.
