Chief Executive Officer | Suzanne Long
Boldbridge Group Ltd (Nambour RSL Club is a division of)

Suzanne has been a member of the team since 1992. During this time Suzanne progressed through administration and management roles to now lead the Club as CEO and Company Secretary. Under her leadership, the Club in 2018 grown from an Incorporated Association to a Company Limited by Guarantee and is now developing of a new Community Club at Sippy Downs. The Nambour RSL Club has also undergone several major redevelopments and growth since Suzanne was appointed the role of General Manager in 2009.

Upon graduating from the 2008 Fosters Leadership Academy intake, Suzanne received the prestigious Future Industry Leader of Outstanding Potential Award. She holds a Certificate IV in Business, Certificate IV in Hospitality, Diploma of Hospitality Management, Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management, has completed several units in a Bachelor of Commerce and is a successful graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Suzanne is also a qualified Justice of the Peace and holds a CCM – Certified Club Manager Award.

With a passion for her career and the careers of the team she leads, Suzanne loves to see people reach their full potential. She dislikes seeing people do jobs they don’t enjoy and has the philosophy that ‘if you are passionate about what you do then you will always succeed’.

Suzanne was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast and has two children, Mitchell and Madison.

Assistant General Manager | Laurie Williams

Laurie joined the Nambour RSL Club team in 1994. During this time Laurie has progressed through the ranks holding positions as Bar Manager, Human Resources manager, Operations Manager to his now current role as Assistant General Manager.

With a strong passion for the hospitality industry and the Nambour RSL Club, Laurie previously held the position of President of the Club Managers Association (Sunshine Coast Zone) and is a current member and former Chairperson of the Nambour and Hinterland Liquor Accord (CALM). He is also an active member of the community and has been involved in various community groups including NYU Football and North Arm State School.

Laurie’s qualifications include- Certificate IV OHS, FSA Certificate, Diploma of Management, Diploma of Hospitality (Management) and the CCM – Certified Club Manager Award.

Laurie is married to Tracy and has three sons, Joshua, Clayton and Dominic.

Katie joined our team as Marketing and Communications Manager in 2022.

A professional marketer within club world, Katie holds a Bachelor of Administration (Tourism) from James Cook University, Townsville, and has over 20 years of marketing experience in the club industry. Katie is a creative thinker, who thrives on challenge and regularly engages with industry leaders to broaden her knowledge base and through sharing with fellow team members enhances team performance. Her passion is going outside the norm by creating experiences and a destination for others to enjoy.

Managing our marketing strategy from advertising, entertainment, social media, corporate sponsorships and all that lies between Katie enjoys the diversity within her role, the connections it presents and the performance-driven team that she engages with each day.

Katie loves escaping early in the mornings on her paddle board to enjoy the solitude of our beautiful Sunshine Coast waterways.
