Management

The Nambour RSL Club has a strong leadership team who possess a combined 120 plus years in the club and hospitality industry.

Together the management team , which consists of 10 dedicated people, strive to keep the club at the forefront of the industry and deliver the best facilities for the community.


General Manager – Suzanne Long

Suzanne LongSuzanne has been a member of the Nambour RSL Club team since 1992. During this time Suzanne has progressed through administration and management roles  to now lead the club as general manager. Under her leadership, the club has continued to progress and undergo a major redevelopment and growth.

Suzanne holds a Certificate IV in Business, Certificate IV in Hospitality, Diploma of Hospitality Management, Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management and has completed several units in a Bachelor of Commerce. Suzanne is also a qualified Justice of the Peace and holds an ACCM – Certified Club Manager Award. Suzanne graduated from the 2008 intake into Fosters Leadership Academy and  upon her graduation she received the Future Industry Leader of Outstanding Potential Award.

Suzanne is passionate about her career and the Nambour RSL Club and is an active member of the Club Managers Association – Sunshine Coast Zone. Suzanne also holds a position on the Clubs Queensland – Clubs Advisory Council.

Suzanne was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast and has two children, Mitchell and Madison.


Assistant General Manager – Laurie Williams

Laurie WilliamsLaurie joined the Nambour RSL Club team in 1994. During this time Laurie has progressed through the team holding positions such bar manager, human resources manager, operations manager to his now current role as assistant general manager.

Laurie has a strong passion for the hospitality industry and for the Nambour RSL. He is a recognisable face at the club and the community due to his active role in various groups such as the Nambour Liquor Accord (CALM), of which he is chairperson.

Laurie holds a Certificate IV in Hospitality, Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training, Diploma of Hospitality Management, Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management and the ACCM – Certified Club Manager Award. Laurie previously held the position of Club Managers Association – Sunshine Coast Zone President.

Laurie is married to Tracy and has three sons, Joshua, Clayton and Dominic.
