Chief Executive Officer - Chris Keen has enjoyed a long and successful reign at the RSL Services and Citizens Club Nambour Inc since commencing in April 1984. Chris has performed many duties within the club, from Duty Manager to Assistant Manager before assuming the role of General Manager in 1990 and in late 2009 Chris decided to reduce his role in the active day to day running of the club and was appointed the position of Chief Executive Officer, Chris will fulfill this position in a part time role.

The club has prospered for many years under Chris’s guidance with him not only overseeing the running of the club but also 3 major (and many minor) club redevelopments and various land acquisitions culminating in the wonderful facility that we now enjoy today. This success and the smooth operation of our club has been enhanced by Chris’s ability to surround himself with a professional and able management team. 

Throughout this time Chris has strived to promote the club industry serving as a member of the Clubs Queensland Advisory Council, CMA Zone Committee and as CMA Federal Councilor. Chris also holds the the ACCM – Certified Club Manager Award.

Chris is married to Elissa and has 3 sons, Scott, Alex and Elliot.

General Manager - Suzanne Long has been a member of our team since her employment commenced with the club in 1992.   During this time Suzanne has progressed through our Administration and Management team to currently hold the position of General Manager.

Suzanne holds a Certificate IV in Business, Certificate IV in Hospitality, Diploma of Hospitality Management and has completed several units in a Bachelor of Commerce.  Suzanne is also a qualified Justice of the Peace and holds an ACCM – Certified Club Manager Award.  Suzanne graduated from the 2008 intake into Fosters Leadership Academy in late 2009, upon her graduation Suzanne received the Future Industry Leader of Outstanding Potential Award.  Suzanne is very passionate about her career and the Nambour RSL Club and is involved with the Club Managers Association – Sunshine Coast Zone as Zone Secretary.

Suzanne was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast is married to Jason and has 2 children, Mitchell and Madison.

Assistant General Manager - Laurie Williams has been a member of our team since his employment commenced with the club in 1994.  During this time Laurie has progressed through the team holding positions such Bar Manager, Human Resources Manager, Operations Manager and currently holds the Management position of Assistant General Manager. 

Laurie holds a Certificate IV in Hospitality, Certificate IV in Assessment & Workplace Training, Diploma of Hospitality Management and the ACCM – Certified Club Manager Award.  Laurie currently holds the postion of Chairperson of the Nambour Liquor Accord (CALM) Laurie previously held the position of Club Managers Association - Sunshine Coast Zone President. Laurie is married to Tracy and has 3 sons, Joshua, Clayton and Dominic.
